Start small with changing your diet. You need to make sure your body gets what it needs. Not what your brain, mouth and stomach claims it wants.. But rather what your body needs.
Your body don’t really need to fill up on sugar, salt, fats and a lot of other things that you probably enjoy a little bit to often.
Sure you can keep on enjoying it but use it as a small reward to you once in a while in moderation.
Daily dietary intake includes proteins, carbohydrates, and vegetables. Diversity is key.
Ask yourself:
Can I name three or more vegetables that I enjoy eating regularly?
Or, more generally, how many types of “meals” do I prepare in an average week?

Make sure to make it a habit not to sit all the time. Just keep your body in motion.
If you start sweating then that is okay. You can always take a shower later on, right?
Move as often as possible. Move around. Pace around. Jog a little. Even just by standing up you are letting your body work more than if you were sitting down.
As soon as you take action in making sure to give your body the nutrients that it needs and the activity that it needs then you will soon see that the pounds start dropping.
